Valor VL100 / Pro Quick Reference Sheet User Manual Common Guide

Connect to Wi-Fi

1. Power on → Tap ★ → Comm Config → Wi-Fi.

2. Select your Wi-Fi network (SSID) → Enter password → OK. Quick tip: press number keys to enter letters.

3. When “Connected” appears, return to the Home screen.

Sale (Transaction)

1. On Home screen, enter the amount.

2. Press the green button to confirm.

3. Ask the customer to Swipe / Insert / Tap the card.

4. If prompted, enter Tip / PIN / Signature.

5. Receipt prints → Displays “Approved”.

Void (Cancel Transaction)

1. Tap ≡ → Payment → Card → Void → Tran Number.

2. Enter the Transaction Number (from receipt Trans No.).

3. Verify the record.

4. Press the green OK button.

5. Receipt prints “VOID Approved”.

Add Tip / Tip Adjust

At time of sale: Customer enters tip amount during transaction.

After sale:

1. Tap ★ → Tip Adjust → Tran Number.

2. Enter the Transaction Number (from receipt Trans No.).

3. Verify and enter the tip amount → OK. Be careful not to enter wrong amount.

4. Receipt prints “Tip Adjusted Successfully”.

Settlement / Batch Close

1. Tap Menu → Settlement.

2. The terminal uploads transactions and prints a “Batch Closed” report.

Refund

1. Tap ≡ → Payment → Card → Refund.

2. Enter the Refund Amount → OK.

3. Ask the customer to Insert / Swipe / Tap the card.

4. Receipt prints “REFUND Approved.”

Reprint Receipt

1. Tap ≡ → Reprint.

2. Enter Manager Password.

3. Choose Last Transaction or By Transaction #.

4. Select the transaction → OK / Print to reprint.

Password Information

• Manager / Settlement Password: Usually the last 4 digits of the EPI number, or custom-set.

• Tip Adjust, Refund, Void, Reprint require Manager Password.
